If you're looking for good customer support, go to Lindsey instead of Stephanie. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but this experience was the worst. I can’t wrap my head around why a company would keep someone like her in customer service. She was really curt and didn’t make an effort to understand my issue. Instead, she tried to push me into buying a part I didn’t even need and refused to exchange a part (which she suggested) without charging me for shipping after I had already spent $89.00. Seriously, consider shopping somewhere else if you can. By the way, I’m not alone in this opinion; just check out other reviews and you’ll see.

I ordered a replacement reflector globe for my lamp, and once it arrived, I checked to see if it fit. I then reached out to the rep for suggestions on a fabric lampshade that would work with the globe. Instead of giving me specific options, she just pointed me to the sizing codes. Let me tell ya, it was a real headache trying to find a shade, and I ended up with the wrong size. When I emailed the company, the rep mentioned something like 'you need F203G (not the actual part)'. I was left wondering why I couldn't have gotten that info when I first asked. Anyway, I sent back the $75 item and had to fork out $44 for shipping. It's been two weeks since the tracking showed they got it, and still no refund. I'm done with this place!!!

AWFUL SERVICE AND RUDE REPRESENTATIVE ON THE LINE—STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I still haven't received my part and I'm really turned off by the lady I just talked to. When I inquired about why my $6 shipping fee turned into a two-week wait, she told me that if I wanted to complain, I should call the post office. What a lack of responsibility—maybe she’s never heard of other shipping options. I can't believe management allows her to handle calls. And just so you know, calling someone 'ma'am' while being disrespectful doesn’t make it okay—even in Tennessee. Just don’t do it.

In the lead-up to my purchase with B&P Antique Lamp Supply, I exchanged a bunch of emails to nail down the right specs for a replacement burner for my Crisa oil lamp. The burner I got wouldn’t fit into the Crisa lamp reservoir because the screw threads were all wrong, which is a serious safety concern. It seemed like B&P Antique Lamp Supply didn’t grasp how crucial it is for those threads to match up. They even expected me to cover the return shipping for their mismatched part! I sent them photos and thread gauge evidence to show the issue. Eventually, they did send a return shipping label. They admitted that the OEM burner and their replacement were not the same. However, when I asked if they had actually checked the compatibility of their replacement burner, they dodged the question three times. I returned the burner in its original packaging and box, but B&P Antique Lamp Supply didn’t give me a full refund and ignored my emails asking for a correction. Their PayPal account got put on hold until they finally refunded the entire purchase amount.

I had to file a dispute with PayPal against B&P Antique Lamp Supply. They didn’t bother to respond to PayPal. In the end, PayPal ruled in my favor and refunded the shipping costs.

I've been coming back for the excellent quality and reasonable prices. Plus, the customer service is fantastic!

Shipping methods are pretty sketchy, and the customer service team is downright rude.

I had a really bad time with their customer service, and after checking out other reviews, it looks like this is just how they roll. It's not on us, so why should we lend a hand? I won't be doing business with them again.
